SHHH Live Lounge (event)
My Final Major Project at university (2018) was one for their history books; my project was that I threw a party!
I invited every creative person I knew to be a part of a live music event at my apartment. Each person would collaborate with me on the organisation, running, and documenting of the entire day.
Models, photographers, musicians, DJ's, set designers, people from the fashion industry, publicists, and more all came together to showcase creativity directed by myself.
The design output was massive; I was able to present to the university everything from screen-printed posters and t-shirts to a 64 page printed magazine, as well as digital content.
I designed the layouts of the A5 magazine, which had images taken by photographers, a model shoot with the branded merchandise, copy written by publicists, articles by the musicians, and reviews from the creatives involved and their friends.
A downloadable album, complete with artwork, was made available online for everyone to relive the live performances from the musicians who played in the day and the DJ sets from the night. In addition to this online content, social media played a prominent role in advertising and documenting the event.
An enormous undertaking, an exhaustive process, an incredible night, and a distinction!
